Chargeback Fraud Policy
Chargeback Fraud Policy – Good Organics, LLC and Subsidiaries
At Good Organics, LLC, we are committed to providing premium-quality products and outstanding customer service. However, ensuring a secure, fair, and transparent business environment is paramount. Chargeback fraud not only harms our business but also impacts the trust and experience of our legitimate customers. To combat fraudulent chargebacks, we have implemented strict policies that include account blocking and legal actions against fraudulent claims.
Legal Actions Against Chargeback Fraud
If a chargeback is determined to be fraudulent—meaning the customer received the product or service but falsely disputes the charge—Good Organics, LLC will take immediate and decisive action, including:
- Account Blocking: The customer's account will be permanently disabled, preventing future purchases.
- Cancellation of Orders: Any pending or future orders will be canceled immediately.
- Legal Action & Law Enforcement Reporting: Within 30 days of identifying fraudulent chargebacks, we will file a police report in the jurisdiction of the shipping address and may pursue civil and/or criminal charges. This can result in fines, penalties, and potential prosecution.
- Debt Recovery: The amount of the chargeback, plus any applicable legal fees, collection agency fees, and penalties, will be pursued through a third-party collection agency.
Fraudulent chargebacks are considered theft and will be handled as such.
What Constitutes Chargeback Fraud?
Chargeback fraud, also known as friendly fraud, occurs when a customer files a chargeback for a legitimate transaction with their bank or credit card provider under false pretenses, such as:
✔ Claiming they did not receive an order when tracking confirms delivery.
✔ Denying knowledge of the purchase when the order was placed using their details.
✔ Attempting to secure a refund while retaining the product or service.
✔ Misusing the chargeback system to avoid paying for received goods.
Strict Account Blocking Policy
If a customer is found to have filed a fraudulent chargeback, their account will be permanently banned across all platforms, including:
🚫 Good Organics, LLC (www.good-organics.com)
🚫 Good Canna, LLC and Good Canna Rx, LLC (all associated websites included)
🚫 Any associated new account registrations (and transactions) will be blocked.
Customers who have committed chargeback fraud will no longer be eligible to purchase from Good Organics, LLC or its subsidiaries.
